2017 Livingston Hoot

Jon Cleary and the Quebe Sisters

The Livingston Hoot has announced the 2017 headliners and they’re not messing around!  Grammy winner Jon Cleary is coming up to Montana from New Orleans, bringing his own brand of Funk and R&B.  We've wanted to get Jon up to the Hoot since before there even was a Hoot. The Hoot is a free community sponsored event providing fun, food and music on historic Main Street in downtown Livingston, MT. This year the Hoot is Thursday, August 3th, rain or shine.

Last year, the Hoot featured New Orleans trio the Fishing Music Band and headliner Vince Gill and Rodney Crowell with special guest Paul Franklin. The event drew close to 12,000 (!!) people, and spread three blocks.

This year, the event will kick off at 4 PM, with a kid’s fun area available, and vendors with food, drink, art and more on Main Street. Opening the whole shindig are The Quebe Sisters from Texas.  These three gals play three part harmony on their fiddles and sing three part harmony.  It's like the Andrews Sisters meet Bob Wills.  They'll kick off the music at 6 PM and Jon Cleary will take the stage at 8 PM. The International Federation of Fly Fishers is returning to Livingston for their Fly Fishing Fair and will be attending the Hoot.
